Uniform Fitting

Hello Emerald Brigade students and parents!

BAND STUDENTS
will be fitted into their marching band uniforms (and tuxes for the guys) during All-Member band camp according to the following schedule:

  • Schedule:  
    • Monday Aug 2:  SENIORS.   Students arrive at Band Camp at 9am.  At 11am, the fitting of Uniforms and Tuxes will begin.  Seniors will be excused to pick up their schedule during band camp (noon to 3pm).
    • Tuesday Aug 3:  JUNIORS.  You will first pick up your schedule at 8:00 am.  After you get your schedule, go to the band room for uniform fitting and tux fitting.  
    • Wednesday Aug 4:  SOPHOMORES.  You will first pick up your schedule at 8:00 am.  After you get your schedule, go to the band room for uniform fitting and tux fitting.  
    • Thursday Aug 5:  FRESHMAN. Please go to pick up your schedule at 8:00 am. After you get your schedule, go to the band room for uniform fitting and tux fitting. (FYI, the freshman boys will be measured for a tux shirt on the second day of Freshman Band Camp (Jul 27).  Someone from Tuxedo Den is coming to band camp that morning to measure the boys for a tux shirt and will order a "tux shirt package" for each.  When the packages are in, you will receive a call from Tuxedo Den to pick up, and pay for, your son's shirt package ($29.50 plus tax).

Instructions:

  • Wear your under armour or gym shorts for the fitting. (New students, if you don't already have black under armour, you will need to purchase it by band camp and bring it with you.  You will need a black shirt and black shorts.   It is mandatory to wear under armour under the band uniforms to protect them from perspiration.)    
  • Bring your marching shoes with you to the fitting.  If you ordered or need to order replacement shoes, you will use the sample shoes in the band room during the fitting as well as to determine what size to order. IF YOU NEED TO ORDER SHOES AND HAVE NOT ALREADY SUBMITTED PAYMENT WITH YOUR REPLACEMENT ORDER FORM, PLEASE BRING A CHECK for $24 WITH YOU TO THE FITTING TO COVER THE COST OF THE REPLACEMENT SHOES. (New students, you will be fitted for marching shoes along with the rest of the uniform.  The cost of your first pair of shoes was included in your band donation, so you do not need to bring money with you.)

 

GUARD STUDENTS will be measured and fitted during Basics Block at Band Camp on Monday August 2nd, so there is no need to come in earlier than band schedule.  However, you still need to pick up your school schedule at 8:00 am on the day your class level is scheduled so that you are not late to band camp.

RETURNING STUDENTS: *Please return your Parade Uniform, laundered, in your uniform bag, if you have not done so already.  These need to be in the Guard Room by the first day of All Member Band Camp.

NEW STUDENTS: You will be given a garment bag for your uniforms.  We will assign a Parade Uniform to you.

ALL GUARD STUDENTS: You will be measured for the Field Show and the New Parade Uniforms at this time.  Please wear your black practice clothing to this fitting (no baggy clothes please)

·       Flag bags will be available for purchase for $20.00 each/checks payable to EBSO.
